Potato Curry

250g Potato boiled and cut into large pieces
6 red onions (shalots) sliced
4 green chillies sliced
½ teaspoon curry powder
6-8 seeds of fenugreek (uluhal)
¼ tea spoon turmeric (kaha)
1 sprig curry leaves
2’’ Rampe
salt to taste
1 tea spoon lime juice
2 cloves garlic crushed (optional)
tiny piece of cinnamon
1cup first (thick) coconut milk
1 ½ cups second (thin) coconut milk

Put all the ingredients except the thick milk and lime juice.

Cook in a medium heat contentiously stirring until onions and green chillies are boiled.

Add the thick milk and cook contentiously stirring until gravy is thick.

Remove from heat and lastly add the lime juice.
