Fish Cutlets

Ingredients

200g Boiled flaked fish
125g boiled potato smashed
1 onion finely chopped
2 green chillies finely chopped
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
Small piece of cinnamon
1 cardamom
1 clove
1 sprig curry leaves
1” Rampe (pandan leaf)
1 tablespoon oil
¼ teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon pepper
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon lime juice
½ cup of bread crumbs

Batter to coat cutlets
1 egg
2 tablespoons flour
(Mix these two with little water into a fairly thick batter )

Heat oil add ginger garlic paste, cinnamon, cardamom and clove sauté until golden.

Add finely cut onions, green onions, curry leaves and rampe. Let it fry in oil for few minutes. Add ¼ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper.
Then add boiled flaked fish, mix well and cook for few seconds.

Add turmeric, salt, and pepper to the boiled potato and mix well.

Add the potato mixture and mix well. Remove from heat.

Lastly add the lime juice mix well. Let it cool for few minutes. Make medium size balls .

Dip the balls in the batter, then coat the bread crumbs.

Deep fry in hot oil until golden with taking good care not to break.
Remove form oil and drain on a paper. Eat while hot.
