Stir fried capsicum with onions

This is a spicy dish. I always match this with a mild curry when I prepare the menu. Normally, I plan my meals with a mild curry, a spicy stir fried dish, meat or fish curry and green leaves.

Stir fried capsicum with onions

Ingredients

4 capsicum cut into long strips
2 onions thinly sliced
15  sprats ( haal masso )
1 clove garlic crushed
1 tomato cut into cubes
10 curry leaves 1’’ rampe (pandan leave)
1 teaspoon chili flakes ( or as you prefer)
¼ teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon vinegar
salt to taste

Heat oil in medium heat. Then add curry leaves, rampe, crushed garlic and sprats. Fry stirring till golden brown.

Then add onions. Stir for a few minutes and add salt, turmeric and chilli flakes.

Add capsicum strips and mix, then add cut tomato and vinegar.

Cook till capsicum and tomato are tender. Remove from heat.

Serving Suggestions. Pumpkin curry, Capsicum stir fry, Fish curry, Green leaves.
